Guyana recorded its first funnel cloud in the year 2019 (to the best of our knowledge) over the skies of Georgetown, Region 4. To be exact, the funnel cloud was recorded in the afternoon of August 16, 2019. This is not to say that funnel clouds never happened over Guyana before, but this is possibly the first time it was recorded due to readily available mobile phone recording technology.
Weather wise, Guyana ?? is heading into dangerous territory.
