Contestant number 5, Miss Natoya Foo, who won the title of second runner up, delivered a stunning, breathtaking performance of a folksong and dance, entitled, “They Say Rupununi is Bush.”
The lyrics of the song, which is mostly in local Creolese dialect, addresses some of the misconceptions people elsewhere may have about the Rupununi Savannahs while highlighting the pride, beauty, and culture of the Rupununi people.
Have fun and leave your thoughts in the comments below.

Lyrics
They said rupununi was Bush. Forgetting our greenery just lush. Trying to put we down but nobody can't tek away we crown. Coming from far away they want to take advantage ah weh thinking we Amerindians not strong, but we coming down to prove you wrong. They said rupununi was Bush Forgetting our greenery just lush, don't you see the rupununian crown the kanuku standing for so so long. Aishalton with the petroglyphs, shea rock and moco-moco hydro. You evah went to ariwa Beach? Or taste our pepper pot, farine and tasso? The said rupununi was Bush Forgetting our greenery just lush, but you evah see we women? Man dem girls is a 10 outta 10 know how to work the matapee, fetch cassava in a warshi and when the dance the matapee dance man they would put you down in a trance.
