Replete with breathtaking sceneries, Orealla Village is a nature paradise located to the East of Guyana in the county of Berbice. Also called Orealla Mission, the village lies on the Corentyne River about 33 miles south of Crabwood Creek. The only means of reaching Orealla Village from the coast at the time of this writing is by boat. Speedboats run almost daily from Orealla Village to the Coast near to the Skeldon Village. The big passenger boat runs twice a week.

Orealla Vilage is located about 15 miles away from the Surinamese Village of Apoera, which is found on the other side of the Corentyne River.

Orealla Village has a population of about 2000 people, and the main economic activities are subsistence farming, logging, lumbering, and sand mining. The village is inhabited by a mixture of several different indigenous tribes including the Arawak, Warrau, and Carib. A resident of Orealla said that there was just one family of the Carib Tribe as of June 2022.

Orealla Village has a nursery school and a primary school with a secondary department. There is one Health Center in Orealla Village, but residents relate that it is still not enough to service the village especially when there are medical emergencies. Critical persons have to travel out to the coast to seek medical care. Orealla Village has a medical ambulance which was given to the village by the Minister of Health.

Presently, there are two guesthouses in Orealla Village for persons who wish to visit for tourism purposes. One of the guesthouses is privately owned while the other belongs to the village council.
