While thousands are wondering whether Azzurdin Mohamed will make a run for political office, the owner of Team Mohamed’s Racing Team brandished a politically charged statement today via his Facebook post which raises the hopes of his supporters that he very well might be planning to do so. In the statement, which comes on the heels of a video of the same theme, Mohamed lashes out strongly at the government in power, accusing them of being grossly incompetent and of squandering and stealing the nation’s oil wealth. This is a statement that will not be taken lightly either by the general Guyanese population or the government in power. It raises hopes on one hand, and fear on the other.

Mohamed… Mohamed… Mohamed… All Bharrat seems to focus on these days while neglecting his official responsibilities to this great Nation!
The government of Guyana is failing its people by squandering billions of dollars on corrupt deals, questionable business interests, and poorly executed infrastructure projects while they seem to ignore the country’s real issues. Roads and bridges are being built and some of those are already crumbling, while the nation’s sovereignty is under direct threat from Venezuela. BUT BHARRAT STUDYING MOHAMED.
No clear message is being sent to directly address the Guyanese people. Instead, we hear reports of soldiers being injured, surrounded by speculation, while videos of a Venezuelan military ship surfaces on social media. Citizens are left in uncertainty – worried about what will happen if this situation escalates. The government remains silent to its people, failing to provide any real assurance. The government’s lack of transparency is unacceptable—citizens need to know where we stand, what is being done, and how we will defend our country if this threat becomes reality. Instead of investing in military preparedness and defense planning the government issues weak statements and acts as if the border dispute will resolve itself – if something is being done behind the scenes – should the nation not have a right to know? Citizens aren’t asking for state secrets—they just need reassurance that we are capable of defending our country. BUT BHARRAT STUDYING MOHAMED.
Meanwhile, the country’s oil wealth is being mismanaged, funneled into the pockets of a privileged few rather than used to develop industries that would create long-term stability. We take foreign loans with a trillion-dollar budget. Crime is rampant, the healthcare system in shambles, and the education sector continues to deteriorate. Corruption thrives at every level of government, draining resources that should be used to strengthen the economy, improve public services, and safeguard national security. If Guyana continues down this path it risks economic collapse, territorial loss, and long-term instability. We have seen these play out in other countries and it is very real. The Chinese are taking over Guyana – the Venezuelans are ready to attack and invade Guyana. Weaponize the State against them – BUT BHARRAT STUDYING MOHAMED.
This nation continues to suffer while Bharrat is solely focused on where Azruddin Mohamed is, what he is doing, who he is meeting with, what is he wearing, what is he driving. Perhaps if he had invested that much time in Su he would have “found” him by now.
When you are in public office it is to serve the nation to the best of your ability. But you clearly have outlived your usefulness to this country.

As we mentioned in a previous article on the subject, if Mohamed does run for political office, he will have great obstacles to overcome due to the recent US sanctions on him and his father. Nevertheless, the government in power seems more afraid of the younger Mohamed than all political groups combined.
