The Cuffy Statue, also called the 1763 Monument, is located at the Square of the Revolution, Georgetown, Guyana, South America.
The monument was created in honour of a Guyanese slave who led a revolt against plantation owners in Region 6 of Guyana. The uprising lasted about one year and Cuffy was eventually killed. However, he is recognized as one who was the first to attempt to fight for freedom against slave owners.
