The Lethem – Georgetown Trail, also popularly called the “Lethem – Linden Trail” is a 300 – mile (approximately) trail cut mostly through the Amazon Rain forest from Lethem to Linden, Guyana, South America.
There is ongoing talks of paving the road and several loans and grants have been awarded for this project. The Brazilian government also has an interest in paving the road in exchange for use of Port Georgetown to ship Brazilian Products worldwide.
