The beautiful, magnificent Demerara River is located in Eastern Guyana. It rises in the central rainforests and flows north for 346 kilometers into the Atlantic Ocean.
The Demerara River Divides Region 3 on the West Bank from Region 4 in the East of Guyana, South America.
The Demerara Harbour Bridge crosses a distance of four miles from the East Bank to the West Bank of Demerara.
