All across the Rupununi Savannahs of Guyana, you can find giant anthills as high as ten to fifteen feet built by a multitude of tiny ants. These giant ant hills, some of which sport a base of about 5 feet in diameter, are one of nature’s wonders because they were built by ants smaller than the tips of your fingernails. The giant ant hills are built with clay and are relatively strong.
