The Kaieteur Falls is a one-drop waterfall with a height of 741 feet from the top to the first break. It flows over a series of steep cascades that, when included in the measurement, brings the height of the falls up to 822 feet.
The Kaieteur Falls is 4 times higher than Niagara Falls and about 2 times higher than Victoria Falls.
Each year, tourists from around the world travel to Guyana, South America to have their fill of the wonders and splendor of the mighty Kaieteur Falls. The reviews are amazing.
To visit the amazing Kaieteur Falls, you first have to go to Eugene Correia International Airport on the East Coast of Demerara (about 15 miles from the capital of Georgetown) and book a flight to the Kaieteur National Park in Region 8. The Kaieteur National Park was developed to aid tourism efforts to the Kaieteur Falls.
This magnificent falls is located on the Potaro River in Region 8 of Guyana, South America. The Potaro River empties into the mighty Essequibo River.
