Sakaika Falls is located on the Ekereku River in Region 7 of Guyana, South America. Sakaika Falls, at the time of this article, is a relatively undiscovered and unexplored waterfall hidden deep in the jungles of Guyana in Region 7. The falls can be reached by traveling about 15 miles from the airstrip in Region 7. Motorcycle or ATV would be the preferred choice of vehicle to reach Sakaika Falls because of the rough terrain.

Due to the fact that it is relatively unknown and unexplored, Sakaika Falls has not yet (as of December 2023) been listed or promoted as a tourist attraction in Guyana. The layout of the falls also makes it potentially hazardous and due care should be taken when visiting there.

How to Get to Sakaika Falls

To get to Sakaika Falls from Georgetown, you have to board a plane from Eugene Correia International Airport in Ogle, East Coast Demerara, and fly for about 45 minutes to the Ekereko Bottom Landing Strip. After that, travel 2 hours by motorcycle or ATV to the falls where you can pitch tent and spend the night.
