However, a recent video which surfaced on Facebook shows an indigenous community in the Deep South Rupununi Savannahs doing their own thing: a uniquely indigenous way of celebrating Christmas.
The video below was posted on the 23rd of December, 2022 by Naomi Ruth, a resident of Masakanari Village (also called Gunns Village) in the Deep South Rupununi Savannahs.
