Unsolved Mystery

A young man traveled to the Rupununi Savannahs of Guyana to be a teacher decades ago. There he got married and embarked on a new journey of life. Seu Persaud Singh was born in Riverstown Village on the Essequibo Coast on November 23, 1955. He is the eldest of 12 children. He moved to the Rupununi in the mid-1970’s to take up a teaching job in Sawariwau Villige in the South Rupununi Savannahs of Guyana, South America. There, he met his wife, Gloria with whom he shares five beautiful children.

One day however, he slipped off the radar and was never heard from again. What was the fate of Seu Persaud Singh who last made contact with his relatives about thirty years ago? Did he migrate to neighboring Brazil and start a new life? Or was he the victim of a crime which cost him his life?

His family are desperate for answers. They need closure. They need to know what happened. The family of Seu Persaud Singh is pleading with anyone with knowledge of this case to kindly make contact on telephone number: 1 718 708 3612. All information will be treated with full confidentiality.

More Details

Seu Persaud Singh has been reported missing since 1993. During the time of his disappearance, he was living with the Tacoordeen’s in Lethem. That is, Anthony, Errol and their mother.

Singh left the teaching profession sometime in the early 90’s and took up trading from Brazil where he and his business partner from Lethem (Anthony Tacordeen) sold their merchandise in the savannas for cash or sometimes they would barter for farm animals which they would pick up at a later time to bring to Lethem to be sold.

Then one day in 1993, his family on the coast received a phone call about rumors in Lethem that he had disappeared. The police told the family they were looking into the matter, but they never found him.

Please share this article in the hope that it will reach the eyes of the right persons who will help the family to get closure on the fate of Seu Persaud Singh.
