    A young Guyanese woman has reportedly taken her own life today, 13th of November, 2021 after making public Facebook posts about being in an abusive relationship and being a victim of domestic violence.

    Dian Mandokin was born in Moco Moco Village Region 9, but later moved to the city to live with her common law partner and their children.

    “Ladies if you are in a abusive relationship please please leave immediately… No matter what he tells you dont believe a word he says ..because if he hit u one time its gonna continue through out the relationship . I’m speaking from my experience .

    On the 8th of November, 2021, Dian shared the following post:

    People be looking happy af and going through the darkest times of their lives.

    On the 13th of November, 2021, at around 2 PM, it was reported that the young woman committed suicide.

    Dian was 25 years old at the time of her death. She leaves behind her two young daughters under the age of 5.
