Celebrating Lethem’s third year as a township, Lethem Town Week 2019 kicked off in all its splendor with the opening ceremony on Monday, 21st of October, 2019 in Lethem, Rupununi Savannahs, Guyana, South America.
On the 22nd, the activities started off early in the morning with a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk in recognition of Pintober – raising awareness of the fight against breast cancer.
Still to come is the cycling competition, the Mr. Lethem Fitness 2019 competition, the chess competition, the cultural extravaganza, the Big Girls’ Fashion Show and the crown of it all – the Miss Lethem 2019 Beauty Pageant.
On Thursday, the 24th of October 2019, these outstanding young women will not only be tested for style, beauty and composure, but intelligence as well. We’re all holding our breaths to see who will walk away with the Miss Lethem 2019 Crown. Here are the contestants.
