Incompetence at its finest – Lowenfield said the elections over which he is Chief Elections Officer were non-credible and over 55% of the votes were fraudulent.
To “shoot oneself in the foot” is an idiomatic expression which means to hurt oneself unintentionally by carrying out an action which you are unaware will harm or hurt you. And that’s exactly what the Chief Elections Officer, Mr. Keith Lowenfield, has done by submitting a report that the March, 2, 2020 elections were fraudulent and riddled with anomalies, inconsistencies, dead and migrated voters, etc.
Hi, My Name is Keith Lowenfield, I squandered 8 billion dollars of tax payers’ money while allowing rigged elections to take place right under my nose where about 55% of the votes were fraudulent.
It is glaringly obvious by now that the Grangerites are not exactly good at math.

It is obvious that the APNU/AFC doesn’t care about the financial strain or economic stagnation to which they subject Guyana – as long as they cling to power at all costs. A recent report from the Bank of Guyana showed that over 14 billion dollars of gold reserve was depleted within the last 5 years of APNU/AFC rule. Further, there is no money in the treasury and many industries, including the Guyana Sugar Corporation, are facing imminent collapse.
In the face of of all this, the David Granger Administration is pushing for another long and drawn out electoral process which will cost Guyana over 8 billion dollars more that it doesn’t have.
Let’s try to put things into perspective. First, you stand by and allow a fraudulent declaration of Region 4 votes. You agreed that the APNU/AFC had won on March 4th when Mingo made the fraudulent declarations. When protests erupted, you finally agreed to a recount of all ten regions when the problem was only in Region 4. In fact, you demanded that all ten Regions were recounted in order to buy you time to plan your next fraudulent move.
Now that the recount proves that the APNU/AFC has lost the elections by over 15,000 votes, you backpedal and come up with a plan to disenfranchise over 80,000 voters. Given the role of the Chief Elections Officer, it makes you wonder how a man can say something so horrible about himself. But then again, what else is new? The Grangerites have proven time and time again that they are not the sharpest tools in the shed.
